A friend told me about these pictures from the GDT European Wildlife Photographer of the year 2010 and this is my favourite. A New Year's resolution of mine is to be a hundred times more environmentally friendly, it doesn't take much out of your daily routine and a small gesture can make a big difference! I don't want to sound like a preachy tree-hugger but I think we all have a collective responsibility to care for the environment, and care for each other. The world seems to be getting more selfish by the day, and I don't think it will do us any good in the long run.
