LFW: Margaret Howell A/W11
A collection of pictures from the beautiful and intimate Margaret Howell AW11 show at her flagship store on 34 Wigmore street. The collection was exactly how we expected it to be, classic british at its very best, fine tailoring and feminine silhouettes. Attendees included an array of celebrities, press and buyers including Hilary Alexander, Alexa Chung, and the lovely Susie Lau from stylebubble.com in the front row.
Margaret Howell AW11 trend recap:
Amish woollen hats, chunky school girl knits, subdued winter hues: greys, blacks,browns, deep reds, beiges and dark greens, pleated mid-length skirts and beautifully tailored woolen and leather trench coats. Make-up was kept to a bare minimum with barely there blush, light eye makeup, and hair was swept back in a clean low ponytail. All in all a beautiful show accompanied by great music and a great atmosphere.
